To my faithful followers (all six of you), the things that I would normally put on this blog are now going to go on the youth group blog (Brian made me a poster person). Just by the way, I'll probably shut down this site within the month but as I said all the stuff will still go up.

A reminder

Since everyone is home for the holidays I won't post anything on here. When you all go back to college then I'll start posting all that good stuff again.

A reminder

Pray for Blagojevich. Yeah, I know that no one really likes him and he's done some terrible things and we should by no means sweep everything that he has done under the rug. But he is still a man, a man that is blind, and dead, and doomed for eternity. Pray for the governor's soul. Love him enough to do that. Pray that things will be handled wisely here in Illinois. Pray that we will have trust in God and remember that He is totally sovreign. While you're at it, go ahead and pray for Obama, and Bush, and any all our polictians. These are some of the hardest people to reach with the Gospel sometimes and they need our prayers just as much as our unsaved friends that I hope we pour our hearts out in prayer for.

And no matter how hard it may be, don't slander Blagojevich. We are hear to glorify God which is impossible to do while sinning with our mouths.

Introduction

I thought this would be a good idea for you college kids who have expressed interest in staying in touch with what is going on here. Pretty much the only things that will be on this blog will be the prayer requests from prayer breakfast and a summary of Brian's lesson if he hasn't already made a post on the Youth Group site. I want this to be a real open site and if you have anything that you want to post on here then please feel free. You can either send something to me over Facebook or if you want I can give you my user ID and password over Facebook and you can add whatever you guys want whenever you want. Like if you wanted to put prayer requests on here so we know how to pray for you or something like that. Give me a definitive yay or nay whether you think this is a good idea or not.
