A reminder

Pray for Blagojevich. Yeah, I know that no one really likes him and he's done some terrible things and we should by no means sweep everything that he has done under the rug. But he is still a man, a man that is blind, and dead, and doomed for eternity. Pray for the governor's soul. Love him enough to do that. Pray that things will be handled wisely here in Illinois. Pray that we will have trust in God and remember that He is totally sovreign. While you're at it, go ahead and pray for Obama, and Bush, and any all our polictians. These are some of the hardest people to reach with the Gospel sometimes and they need our prayers just as much as our unsaved friends that I hope we pour our hearts out in prayer for.

And no matter how hard it may be, don't slander Blagojevich. We are hear to glorify God which is impossible to do while sinning with our mouths.

Jek,
I am so glad you posted this and I completely agree- I've spent a lot of my day today praying for Blagojevich. Today is just another reminder of how sinful our world is and a great reminder that we should be living for eternity and not for this wretched world.
